Kia ora! I guess if you’ve made it this deep into my website you’re curious to find out more about lady behind all the sunset pics and questionable captions. I’m a kiwi born and bred chick, so naturally I’m pretty into being outside. I like wide open natural spaces, campfires, trucks, guns, beers & banter. So essentially I’m a dude that wears makeup and dresses sometimes. Fun fact; you’re more likely to be bitten on the face by my cat than beat me at sculling beer or throwing things real far. My staple diet consists of hot chips and peanut butter on toast.
I’m pretty into capturing those moments you had no idea were being captured. Nothing gets me like when someone goes “uuh whaaattt I didn’t even know you were taking photos then!” Uh yeh, cos I’m le photo ninja capturing you all candid and shit.
My style? Real. Organic. Natural. And unless it’s a dolphin, a turtle or a seal, don’t expect me to shoot wildlife. No one ever gets home from the zoo and loves looking over the 600+ blurry images they took of the otters and says “oh I am so glad I took all these pictures incase I forgot what otters look like.” Unless it’s patting you on the head with it’s tiny otter hands or licking fish out of your butt crack, it’s best just enjoy with your eyes.
Instead, I’m obsessed with capturing people. People experiencing spectacular places and pushing comfort zones. I live and breathe coastlines, I yearn for mountains & rivers, have an incurable case of fernweh (look that up, it’s a great word) and stress out when I miss sunsets. Slowly capturing one beautiful country at a time, I want to seek out the unknown and view the known through fresh eyes.
If that all sounds like a bit of you too, we will get along just fine. Just leave your crocs at home. I don’t even want to know if you own a pair. #instantfriendshipkiller
