What is the difference between your two print options?
Enhanced Matte - 210gsm
Enhanced Matte is a mid-weight premium art paper with a smooth matte surface. It’s a natural white, acid-free and printed with archival pigment inks. This is your more affordable option. I wanted to have this available so my art would be attainable for everyone!
Smooth Cotton Rag - 270gsm (archival)
Smooth Cotton Rag is a heavy-weight 100% cotton fibre art paper with a smooth matte surface. This is your creme de la creme option. Printed with archival inks on archival paper, you get a long-lasting, luxe finish.
What do you mean “acid-free”?
This is a special paper that basically means that the paper won’t brown or decompose over time.
And what are “archival papers and inks” all about?
The holy grail of Fine Art Prints. Archival ink is specifically designed to be resistant to weathering and fading so that it will last for a long time. In other words, your print will look fresh as for ages! Archival inks work best when printed on archival paper, ensuring a long and happy life for your favourite Lola prints.
Can you frame my print too?
At this stage, framing is not available to order online. However if you are New Zealand based, please send me an email to hello@lolaphotography.co.nz and I can get that organised in a jiffy!
I want a photo that I can’t see on your site, how do I order it?
Please email hello@lolaphotography.co.nz including a screenshot or link of the photo you are interested in and the size you’d like. I will either add it to the site or create a custom order special just for you!
Why is your delivery period so long?
All my prints are made to order. I like to see every print to ensure it’s up to standard, give it a signature and wrap it up nice and special. If you live in Auckland and need your print a little more urgently, let me know and I’ll see what I can do!
How do I care for my print?
Fine art paper can be delicate, and images with deep blacks can scratch easily. To avoid any boo-boos, make sure you handle your new print with clean, dry hands and open your package in a dry, spacious indoor area away from food and liquids.
What framers do you recommend for your prints? (NZ ONLY)
Factory Frames
Spotlight
Shut The Front Door
K-Mart
The Warehouse
When is your Christmas order cut off date?
My printing studio can get very busy leading up to Christmas, so I highly recommend you get your print orders in by the 6th December to allow for printing and postage time.
Can I commission an art piece?
Most definitely. Get in touch to let me know what you have in mind. Usually my clients will just send me off to their favourite place in NZ (or the world) and see what I come up with!
