Babich Wines came to me for a full refresh of their core imagery. The kind of wine photography that would underpin their brand for years to come. Their brief was clear: ditch the posed, styled portraits and go for something real. Genuine moments, real work, real people, captured right in the thick of harvest.

We spent two days out in Marlborough following the vineyard and winery crews through the rhythm of harvest. Grapes coming in, hands at work and easy banter that happens when people know exactly what they're doing. Harvest doesn't stop for a photographer, so a fair bit of this was about staying close enough to catch the good stuff without getting in the way. Especially when a lot of the process was all happening at once and I needed to be in three places at once.

Honestly, this is exactly the kind of brief I love. Letting people just get on with their day and trusting the best shots come from real moments, not directed ones. The golden evening light over the vines didn't hurt either. Some of my favourite frames from the shoot are just people mid task, caught smiling or properly focused with the vines rolling out behind them. This documentary style winery photography now forms part of Babich's long term brand image library, to be used across their campaigns, website, social media and trade materials.

Hoverworks is doing something genuinely unlike anything else in New Zealand. Using industrial drones to wash the exterior of buildings. No scaffolding, no abseiling, just a very capable (and very large) drone doing the hard work. When they needed commercial photography to launch and promote the business, the brief was clear: make something technical look compelling.

Across three Auckland locations, a residential apartment building in Milford, an Auckland Transport structure at Silo Park, and SkyCity, I worked within full traffic management setups and cordoned zones to get into position. The challenge with this kind of industrial photography was making a relatively small drone read with real presence against much larger structures, while keeping enough context that viewers understood exactly what they were looking at. A lot of moving parts on a working site, but I reckon we nailed it.

The photos & videos Lola delivered for our recent business launch truly exceeded all our expectations. She understood the brief instantly, which gave us full confidence going into the shoot that it would be pain-free and we’d get the content we wanted. She was efficient and conscientious when working on a hazardous site with our busy team and she delivered the content to us in record time. Her years of experience are evident in her eye for the shot and we would never use anyone else. Highly recommend Lola Photography.

PodSpa & Laser is a skin and laser clinic nestled in Mount Eden, Auckland, offering a range of advanced facial treatments including HydraFacials, Dermapen, and Environ and Lira facials and peels. When owner and skin therapist Adrienne came to me for a website refresh, the brief was to create a full suite of imagery that felt as considered and calm as the space itself.

Working within a two hour shoot, we covered headshots of Adrienne, and treatment photography for every service on the menu. Rather than posing and directing every shot, we had a model come in and actually experience the treatments, which meant the imagery captured something real. The kind of quietly confident, skin-in-good-hands feeling that makes someone want to book.

Getting the most out of a client's budget without compromising on quality is something I really enjoy the challenge of, and this shoot is a good example of what's possible when the brief is clear and the space does a lot of the work. The resulting spa and beauty photography was used across PodSpa's refreshed website, with a dedicated image for each treatment page and ongoing social media content.

ECOFLOW

As part of an ongoing partnership with EcoFlow, I have been proud to produce a New Zealand based content showcasing their portable power systems, portable solar panels and RV Powerkits. By capturing their technology during our real life campervan adventures, my imagery steers clear of traditional commercial photography and creates a more genuine feeling. This approach helps me show EcoFlow’s portability and reliability. My goal, as always, is to create imagery that feels immersive, and authentic rather than staged. That way we can not only create product awareness, but trust that their stuff does what it says on the box.

Judge & Company helped us install an EcoFlow RV Powerkit system as part of our van conversion. I put together a blog that walks through the whole process - check it out here: https://lolaphotography.co.nz/blog/vw-t5-camper-conversion-with-ecoflow.

PURE MAMA CONTENT CREATION

As part of Pure Mama’s “Pregnancy Paradox” campaign, I was bought on board to capture fresh imagery of their luxury pregnancy products. Working with beautiful pregnant models, I provided visuals that reflect the nurturing quality of their products. Using pregnant models, we aimed to authentically showcase the products in use, highlighting the natural beauty and radiance of expectant mothers. This shoot not only enhanced Pure Mama’s already amazing online presence with stunning, relatable visuals but also helped in connecting more deeply with their target audience, reinforcing their brand message of luxury and care during pregnancy.

BREL CLUB LAUNCH

Brel Club is a New Zealand brand bringing a touch of luxury to the everyday beach day. Think retro-inspired fringe umbrellas, chairs and towels that make your patch of sand feel a little more like a private cabana. Beach lifestyle photography is very much my happy place, so this one was a pretty dream brief. My approach has always been to let people actually enjoy the experience and let the shots unfold naturally, rather than directing every inch of a scene, and Brel Club was the perfect brand for exactly that.

Tawharanui was the obvious location choice. One of my favourite beaches in the country and exactly the kind of unspoiled, picture perfect backdrops their products were made for. Shooting with a mum and her little one, the goal was to capture that elevated but effortless feeling. The idea that a beautiful beach day isn't just for resorts. The natural light, the texture of the sand, and the genuinely relaxed energy between the two of them did a lot of the heavy lifting. The Brel Club pieces just slotted right into that world. The resulting product and lifestyle photography was used across their website and social channels for launch.

Ecostore Hand Wash Bottle Relaunch

Using the stunning Piroa Falls as my backdrop, I was honoured to create content to showcase Ecostore's new larger hand wash bottles. Through an Instagram carousel and a story set, I shared how Ecostore allows a choice to lead a cleaner and greener lifestyle.

I captured images that highlighted the bottles' aesthetic appeal amongst the raw beauty of New Zealand. These posts emphasized the environmental advantages of Ecostore's products, reinforcing their commitment to a safer and greener world.

I was able drive traffic to Ecostore’s social media pages and convey Ecostore's key messages: the introduction of larger, visually appealing hand wash packs, the promise of the same great product within, and Ecostore's overarching brand commitment to sustainability.
